Stress

This week has been a lot of stress on me and the last few nights have reminded me that I have a chronic illness. One that flares with stress..

My in laws live in a tri-level house and lots of the things have been at their home which is not usually a problem but the last two nights I have been almost unable to leave because I have been so dizzy. It is frightening to not be able to navigate a stair case when you use to be able to ice skate.

I have only truly cried once about my disease until last night. That one time was the first day I was told I had MS and I had no idea what that meant.

Last night I cried because I was scared to death.

Afraid of this feeling of being out of control.

  2. I can identify with your emotions. I have been through that feeling of things happening beyond my control. It is very scarey. It is something everyone will experience at some time in his or her life. I'm sorry you have been under stress. I'm glad you have a good partner to help you.

  3. Dear Christina, it is very scary to take the journey of chronic illness. Stress can hurt us both, it is my biggest obstacle. Our minds are so powerful and stress is hard to avoid. I remember reading how stress hurts MS, so even if I have to sing or dance (both would make you laugh) I will do them until you are no longer dizzy! LOL I'm so grateful you have Charley to give you comfort. I am here for you!

  4. Christina, I know I`ve been sick, but I can`t believe I`ve missed this many of your entries.

I`ll be muddling through them this morning, after I go to the store for milk. Giant snowstorms a comin`!!!
