Color frees my soul

To me it is a beautiful thing...A perfect ending. The giraffe looks right at home! Can you see the monkey in the palm tree???

Man I love my home. (I never thought I'd be able to paint again.)

So what do you think? Like living in a box of crayons, eh?

I am working on it, one room at a time.

  1. It looks great! But now, of course, the rest of the vanilla walls cry out for color...

  6. Let's see here. When I think of the color red, I think of love, lips, joy, sex, happiness, laughter, smiles, dancing, hearts, passion, and a few more positive things. Yep, red suits you and your home beautifully! (And, dang, it really looks great!)

  7. Very nice! I have been toying around with idea forEVER of painting the door to my writing room red. You've got me beat on two counts: you actually acted on your idea and you painted a whole lot more than just a door! Man, that's brave!

  11. What a glorious thought - living in a box of crayons!! Your kitchen really makes me happy, Christina! I see the monkey and the giraffe looks so neat there! I think it is so important to be happy in our surroundings... for them to be an extension of ourselves. Now I need to go paint...xox

Christina, Christina. Not only is the room beautiful--we all knew it would be--but these words are beautiful and completly make this entry. They make ALL the "red kitchen series" entries.

Really just the perfect tucking in and kiss goodnight. You're scared about jumping into this writing thing? You're scared? Hon, you're a natural...

  13. But P.S. it would be awful nice if I didn't have to stare at my own face every time I come back to check on your comments...
