Happy New Year! Noticing that V quoted Coldplay, I was reminded of watching “Beatlemania Now” last night with Patti. The lyrics of a metaphorical song from 1966 stuck in my head and seemed to capture our choices in living with MS over these years.

We wish for you a fulfilling New Year, and offer you the thought that when the pain is at its worst, it is then we are at our strongest, and that it exists for a definite reason - it is a lesson we are being taught to prepare us for the far future, when we will be required to apply what we have learned. Christina, my spirit has alot of the same dreams that yours does. I have heard that the opposite of fear is love. Sometimes I wonder if this is true. Fear has always been an insidious monster in my life. As my joys grow fear somehow lessens, though.
