Now, thoughts about my MS in the light of day. My journal allows me release and a safe place to let go of my feelings so,even though it sometimes upsets my Mom, I will have to continue letting go here.
Please just realize that most days are OKAY.
Really they are.
I am not in a wheel chair and if I was it would be ok.
I do not wear diapers and if I did it would be ok.
I can walk and if I could not it would be ok.
My feet do hurt but hey, I can feel my feet.
For each day I rise to see what God has in store, I am grateful.
Thank you for loving me Mom.
Thank you everyone for singing to me.
But....Only Nikki thought about singing heavy metal.
No one sang worship songs to me.
And not a single person told me to Buck Up. What is wrong with you people?
Don't let a woman wallow in self-pity for pete's sake...
Tell to pull herself up by her boot straps and get on with it.
All my love...this is NOT my New Years entry.
I dream in color, write poetry, talk about God, parent kids and finally wonder about it all

Weeping may endure for a night,

psalm 30: 6
The singing in the comments to your last post was the SWEETEST thing I ever saw in J-land.

Sometimes it is the process that telling someone to do so does not mean they will...and through the process it is a part of the road...We buck up when we are ready...and in truth? I prefer to listen and to be supportive and positive...I can tell myself to pick my arse up off the floor not another...
ReplyDeleteI think with the right support and outlook, we would come to that on our own.
AND
I dont read you as self pity my friend...not at all.
...and darn it...I am so behind, I am missing everything ::pout::
Singing? I missed the singing? ANd Nikki sang my brand of music geesh! I wouldve done a metal duet with her....
sigh

How about this one? It's the only title I remember from church and that's ok too!

This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine,
Ev'ry day, ev'ry day,
Ev'ry day, ev'ry day,
Gonna let my little light shine.
On Monday, He gave me the gift of love;
On Tuesday, peace came from above.
On Wednesday told me to have more faith;
On Thursday, gave me a little more grace.
On Friday, told me to watch and pray
On Saturday, told me just what to say,
On Sunday, gave power divine
Just to let my little light shine. (oh)
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine,
Ev'ry day, ev'ry day,
Ev'ry day, ev'ry day,
Gonna let my little light shine.
Now some say you got to run and hide.
But we say there's no place to hide.
And some say let others decide,
But we say let the people decide.
Some say the time's not right,
But we say the time's just right.
If there's a dark corner in our land,
You got to let your little light shine. (oh)
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm going to let it shine,
Ev'ry day, ev'ry day,
Ev'ry day, ev'ry day,
Gonna let my little light shine.
Please anyone join in :)!
