The Value of a Woman


This is written in the Hebrew Talmud, the book where all of the sayings and preachings of rabbis are conserved over time. It says:


"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior. But from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."


Pass this on to all exceptional women that you know and to men too, so they know the value of a woman.

I LOVE this. It confirms what I believe all along, that women are men's equals. Meant not to walk before him or after him, but BESIDE him. Thanks for sharing.

Well, you have managed to make me cry AGAIN, my dear Friend. This and the last one about flying in your dreams. I don't remember most of my dreams and figure that is my cross to bear since I am so blessed with my health. Maybe that is God's way of freeing you from a body that is ever so steadly letting you down, what do you think? I just remember you as being so tall, slim and pretty, even with very short hair:) And just ever so much fun to play with. We MUST do that again while we still can. Where and when can we meet?

I'm fortunate to be married to someone who already knows this. He maybe knows it better than I do. Ah, but you said EXCEPTIONAL women. I know more than a handful of them, and many seem to visit OR WRITE! this particular journal.
