Sick

Yesterday I had a fever of 102.1, for anyone without MS this is high and icky but for those with MS it can trigger an exasperation. My husband forgets I have MS because I don't wear a sign and I really don't make a big deal about it in my day to day, in fact this is the only place I deal with my feelings on having it.

He really thought I'd be out of bed making dinner last night because "Gosh, she is a stay at home Mom now."

I didn't want to tell him I can no longer feel my left thumb at all.

I mean at all.

Zero feeling.

He brought home chicken.

Funny thing is I am also making chicken tonight because that is what is I put out yesterday...

  1. Cant feel your thumb?

You'd better be extra careful if it needs cutting up, or you may end up feeding him some tips that aren't wing tips.

Take that chicken and make him feed you some chicken soup.

Feel better. Heck feel something.(Strike that. Feel something pleasant.)

  6. Sometimes the Mrs forgets that too. Being too brave can hurt. I have 2 quarts of home-made chicken soup made with home-made stock and garden grown herbs/veggies. I used pre-made noodles though. I'm such a slacker. Oh, and I did not grow the chicken or the corn that fed the chicken either. Big-time slacker. ;)

    Get better, mkay?

  11. I'm sorry your not feeling well! You know, sometimes men just need a little whack upside the head to notice the obvious.

    Use a chicken leg :o)

I hope your Moms broken bone is feeling better and you take it easy! Freedom is in your choices and it seems you've created that chance for yourself. I always admire that above all things~

  13. Hi Sweetie,

Please go to the doctor Monday morning, because I am worried that this horrible flu/cold ss hanging on much too long and could be developing into something else.

As for my dear son-in-law...forgive him for not undrstanding, then like Rebecca Ann said, smack him up against the head with a chicken bone. Only use the wish bone so he gets the message.

    Feel better soon Christina...

    Love and hugs,

    Mom
