L MAO

The thing I always liked most about my Mom was when she said those motherly things that did not make a bit of sense, like:

"Just wait 'til you get your own kids."

Okay, I get it now.

Enough said.

Zero to four in nothing flat.

Wow! Has anyone seen my mind?

The good news is I had to go buy 9 pairs of pants because my old ones were literally FALLING off my butt.

  3. Good for you!!! You sound like you have your hands full... Do not ever be afraid to say NO more... they did the same thing to my parents and because they wanted them (kids) so badly, they were afraid to say no. Sometimes I think it was an injustice to have so many, due to the fact you can not give them the attention they need and deserve. Kids need one on one... I can tell that with my own. If they are family I completley understand!!! That makes sence... keeping them all together :) that is very important.
I miss you daily coffee talk and wish you had more time to reflect... But I completley understand more than you know!!! Take care and good luck,

  6. It's wonderful that you have finally achieved your goal. As to that phrase "Just wait until you have kids of your own"' my mother said it with so much bitterness and so frequently that I decided that I would not have children, and made sure to marry someone who also did not want children.
Be careful what you say to your children; they are listening more closely than you know.
