Well I just spent an hour writting a post and lost it on my Mom's laptop.

I hate laptops.

I am here and safe.

It was a really good post too!

Darn it.

  1. For someone who has such a beautiful blog, you certainly are technology-challenged, Christina... ;-) Here's to spending some quality time with Mom and G-ma.

  2. I hope you have some good quality time with your mom and grandma and that your grandma is doing well! Please take care of yourself. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!

In regards to the laptop....I am the opposite...I LOVE my laptop and as much as I don't mind my desktop I perfer to work on my laptop because it is portable (more comfortable to sit on a couch, recliner, comfy chair, or bed....rather than at a desk) LOL Then again...a lot of my MS problems have to do with pain and numbness in my back & legs. This is where we all differ! :)

Have a great trip and take care!

  4. LOL if I were a better speller the laptop would be IDEAL!!! I love sitting on the bed typing but when I hit spell check I lost my entry.

That and my fingers are so numb that it makes it harder to type on the smaller keyboard.

  6. Ah! Aren't we showing our age? (grin) My 18 yr old looks at me like I stepped out of a wax museum if I call her laptop a laptop. "It's a Notebook, Dad! Laptop is sooooo yesterday!" ... Personally I still fight with the machine on my desk top. Technology is such a love - hate relationship.

  8. We are cut from the same cloth... or at least the same time area... It's hard to change, I myself cannot do laptops either, but my 12 year old daughter loves her Apple Laptop and hates the desk top... the only problem... she does not have access to the internet on hers and uses my computer for the internet... It for control! She does "My Space" and I have to be present and have contol over history and passwords... due to the "wackos" out there looking to take advantage of girls her age.

I cannot count how many time I've lost thing... lots of work... I hate redoing them too... so I do the same thing, oh well... you missed out! It was great!!!
    Hope all is well,
    xoxo
