How love falls into place.

All day long I have been trying to find a suitable way begin this entry in mind, a way that would express the many colors of joy, excitement, fear, relief, prayerfulness and pure happiness that is welling up within my heart.

As a poet it would seem that words should be dripping effortless from my tongue.

And in many ways they are.

Glee is floating in the skyline of my soul like little kites, their tails leaving traces and wisps of white that may very well be words or animals or just clouds.

This morning had the potential to be a very sad day because my Mom left for Seattle and that ended our glorious visit. It had been almost three years since we had last spent time together and that last visit was under sad circumstances. (I had just had my emergency hysterectomy that left me childless and her grandchild-less, since I am an only child.) She flew to my side for the last visit and stayed as long as she could, leaving only days before I found out that I had Multiple Sclerosis. My mother and I are close, our bond is one that others envy but the closeness comes from the fact that we mostly grew up together.

I am rambling.

Stalling.

Trying to savor my news and hold it all for myself.

For Valentines Day 2004 my darling Charley Brown gave me a gift, he gave me the forms to become Foster Parents and a card that said he'd love me forever.

That is a whole lot of love given the above information.

It took us 14 months and today minutes before my Mom left, we got the call that said we are finally licensed.

Our license is officially signed, sealed and in the mail.

There is already a placement being discussed but that will have to wait...For any child's sake you'll find that the stories I will tell will NOT BE the whole truth here. I will not even tell you folks the truth about the kids genders and the stories will be rather general, I am certain you understand, don't you? My number one goal is their safety.

Just know that I am thrilled and if ever we ADOPT then I will post truthful information and share more.

For now though my stories will be vague and any thing I say will be like stories of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.
