Weirdness.....Mine and yours

I was double tagged today!!! Does this mean I am twice as weird or that I have to list twice as many?
First Nikki got me then Jodi....

These are the rules of the game: The very first player chose a topic. In this case, the topic is FIVE WEIRD HABITS OF YOURS. You must then write a journal entry listing those weirdness you possess~as well as the rules of the game. Then, you select FIVE PEOPLE TO TAG and link their names/blogs in your entry. Go to their journals and leave a comment informing them they have been tagged by you and to read your journal to see in what way they have been nailed! Those five then MUST (note that I insist upon it!) write an entry listing their weird habits and tag an additional five people. I am not going to be nice if you do not play along! And because I am such a good sport, I will play the game.

5 WEIRD HABITS OF MINE:
  1. My toe nails are always painted a bright blue and never any other color. Like little blue popscicles or lolipops. It is so much a part of who I am that other people think normal colors look odd on my feet. I have a fetish with my toes.
  2. Even though I do not believe in superstition I refuse to step on the cracks of sidewalks because I don't want to break my mother's back. I know it is a sill childhood rhyme but I still avoid the cracks.
  3. I can tell if someone has moved something in my house an inch or more out of place. Think the creepy woman on...What was the movie where she hobbled the writer in the mountains? Mercy? He moved her penguin and she knew...That's me. Only I have never hurt someone for it. But I understand the urge to hurt someone for it. My step sister use to sneak in my bedroom and move my things just a bit to drive me crazy. Try having this neat freak illness and hiring a housekeeper. Does not work. Ever. The good news is I have loosened up a lot in my aging. LOL.
  4. I am overly concerned that I will one day run out of personal products. I don't feel safe unless we have at least eight rolls of TP in the house and if it gets below eight rolls I really feel up tight. I probably need to seek help for this addiction but I can't because I need to go to the store and but more right NOW! My worst fear is that I may one day RUN OUT. I don't know why, we never have. Ever. Each time we are at the store I ask Charley if I should get more TP which causes him to die laughing....he thinks I have stock in a paper company somewhere.
  5. I have never seen a daytime soap opera and have no regrets.

Now my victims are:

Lisa
Mom
Lori...my friend but she is excused from tagging since she is new to blogging....
Patrick
Paula

  1. Wow! You have an interesting list. You need to take a picture of your pretty blue toenails and post it in here!

It is funny how while reading the weird habits of others, we realize we have some of the same ones. I won't step on sidewalk cracks, either. (Even though Mom might break her back carrying the excessive supply of paper towels she insists she have...similar to your toilet paper surplus!)

So glad you played tag with me. ::smile::

  2. Dear Christina,
I'm afraid that #5 does not qualify as a habit and I must insist on a do-over. (And I take no personal offense at the attempt, by the way, despite the fact that I know the current story lines of at least three ABC soap operas at any given time, even though since I moved to this apt 5 months ago I no longer get television reception. Will Kendall keep the baby??)

Ya know first offf...I have those graphics for you, if you would like them..or I can do other ones, gimme the word.
Second..GREAT LIST! I am the same with knowing if someone has touched anything, which is an amazing feat with 5 kids running amok..lol. I also will wake up if someone walks in my room. Yet outside my room the tvs can be blaring and music can be as well and I wont wake up, yet just take one step, bam I am awake...
    AWESOME LIST!!!!!!!

  4. Christina, you get the TP phobia from G-Ma, she insists on having two large pkgs of 24 rolls on hand at all times. Your Aunt Sandi stocks up on rice and I believe she also has blue toenails. It's genetic dear...

Great list sweetie. I'll get started on mine after I get back from the store.

    Love and hugs,

    Mom

  7. So YOU are the little pig-tailed sprite who's been visiting. The movie you're thinking of is Misery, based on a Stephen King story and starring Kathy Bates. While I'm not big on these tagging games, I think you are a marvelous poet.
