James 5:19-20 Bring Back the Erring One

19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,

20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On occasion peace accidently invades my soul~flowing quickly as a stream towards the ocean.
It is during these times that I feel content.
When I close my eyes and sway to a rhythm that is heard only in my heart. I know you are sitting there nodding in agreement and understanding because all humans experience that perfect moment of bliss at some point. Some find it more often than others but all can know at least a fleeting breath of it. It is hard to forgive the purely evil people in this life and yet it is also necessary; not for their sake alone but really for our own sake. Without forgiveness one cannot be truly free. And what a sweet liberation that is......but yet, it is a struggle to follow thru with it. Forgiveness is like touching the face of God. Forgetting is touching His face.
And yet, evil looms. Swirls in clouds of hate, pity and self doubt.
The prayers of children are the purest ones I have ever had the privilege of hearing. Sweet music. An innocent melody.
There's an old wives tale that children have a direct link to God's ears and that if a prayer is spoken by a child, God will surely hear it. With the sweet innocence of their heart, it's no doubt more truth than tale. :-) ---Robbie
Forgiveness is essential if we are to live a full life. It is only through forgiveness that we can be truly free of anger, hate, resentment, revenge. All ugly sentiments that serve no purpose other than to waste precious moments better lived for a higher purpose, which is to leave the world better than we found it.
Forgiveness....understanding...cutting everyone else some slack. This is something we all need to learn to do. I've come to a new revelation that I need it in MY life. Like to hope I'm actually gonna DO something about it. Lisa :-]
