Weekend Assignment #58: Post one of your favorite mother/child pictures. This could be a picture of you and your mother (at any age), or a picture of you with your children (again, at any age), or even one of your spouse and kids. But it should be a mother who is important to you personally.
(AIM Bloggers: Wondering how to add pictures to your Blog? Visit this entry, which tells you how.)
Extra Credit (this is an optional part of the assignment): Share a piece of fun trivia about your mom.
This is not the best picture, the clearest picture or even my favorite picture of my mother and I.... but it is the most meaningful picture of us. It is the day that I am getting the staples removed after brain surgery and what you cannot see is the fear in her eyes. The worry and the dread. Being a mother must be really hard work but look how very well she has done. My mother is my hero.
Extra credit: Fun trivia about my mom....
She is a child of the sixties and could ride a Harley as a teen (probably still could by the way) but yet does not have even one tattoo. She has been on almost every continent on this planet.
Plus, she can play the guitar.

Yes...it would be hard to be a mother. Or to be a GOOD mother. I'll never know that particular challenge. But my life has others that suit me... Lisa :-]
