I am requesting prayers from all my prayer warrior friends for Shauna Winn....she is the fiancee of Charley's cousin and has been in the hospital since yesturday at about 7pm. They were in a head on at 60 mph. The 1 year old and 8 year are fine but Shauna's lungs are so badly injured that she can not breath on her own. She broke her femur....please, just pray.

Update on Shauna 10/6/04 at 10:26pm

She is not doing well...they air lifted her to Spokane because they have a much better heart surgery team there than in this smallish town. (population 150,000)

Both her lungs are badly bruised and she can not breathe without the ventilator. Her heart is bruised and the right ventricule (sp) is not sqeezing hard enough. The doctors here and there have said the only thing this girl has going for her is that she is young and otherwise healthly. She is sedated, paralized by medicine and living only thru the grace of God.

Saturday night we had them over to our house and her and I talked about her desire to go to church. We talked about the importance of faith. Sunday she was hit by a driver "under the influence" on a two lane high way at 6pm.

Lord I lift up Shauna.. Lord touch her right where she is. Help her to breath, heal her of her wounds. We praise you for keeping the children safe in this wreck and protecting them. Lord for your Glory and Honnor touch Shauna and heal her IN JESUS NAME! Thank you Lord for all you are doing and are about to do in thier life. May they focus on you threw out all this and be brought into a deeper walk with you.
