Patrick & Gil

Woke up this morning to the news that Patrick Sweeny has Pancreatic Cancer, the same thing that Gil died of at the age of 35. It is a very horrible illness to get.

The worst kind of cancer if you ask me because by the time one finds out they have it, it is usually too late.

It is a silent and sneaky thief of lives and usually lives that are way too young.

Sad day.

    I heard about Swayze today... Quite jarring news. Hopefully, he can fight successfully for awhile.

    I didn't know Gil had pancreatic cancer...did you write about it, and I just forgot?

    Sad that this brought back bad memories for you...

    However...

    That email forward from you today (about the taser...) was absolutely hilarious. My hubs got a big kick out of it (and he needed a laugh today!)

    Hey lady! Yanno I have been thinking of yo ALOT lately. Not sure why...but I keep hearing you...in the distance.
    My father passed away from pancreatic cancer, and it is devastating, yes.
    Another reason, I came by, not just ot brighten your day(snicker)-but I am a part of an awesome community-Cre8buzz. it is a social network, yes....BUT BUT BUT- I will tell ya, it is the best network out there and people are great! It is no myspace or facebook, so I wanted to invite you.
    Along with-they just joined forces with MSRC and have a whole community there! So I thought of you. Let me know, I will send you an invite and it would be great to see you about!

    Patrick Swayze is a gem. I hear he has a good support network which will be helpful. As a former dancer, I always admired him, and his mother, too.

    And on your happier note, can't wait to see the cruise pictures!
