It is lover's day...a day I once thought was only for the love of your life.
But, that was back before anyone had ever called me Mommy, what seems like a lifetime ago is not even quite a year ago. That title changes things you know?
What was once an elusive concept now sings songs just to me. I bought six valentines gifts this year...not just one.
Man I would love to finish this thought but a baby is screaming at feet, unsure if "it" wants up on my lap as I type or if "it" wants down.
Who knew that a little baby could throw such a fit? I thought only two year olds did this.
xxoo
Happy day of love.
I dream in color, write poetry, talk about God, parent kids and finally wonder about it all

Our children know we love them, but there something about how their eyes light up with delight at a valentine gift. Mine both forgot all about valentine's day and ran to me with hugs when they found their little gifts in their rooms.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how filled with love your house must be these days.
:)
Happy Valentines Day Christina! It is so good to know that your house is filled with many hearts and lots of love. I am so happy for you and Charley.

I'm happy for you; maybe someday you will be able to write poems and stories about your great experiences with the children. That short-short contest is on again; deadline in about a month. Will you apply this year?
