Barn yards

Barn yards are messy, dirty, stinky places with hay that has to be "mucked out" and animals that can be rather indifferent to us human beings. Cows are not bright creatures and donkeys are stubborn.

S-t-u-b-b-o-r-n.

They do what they want to do, when they want to do it. And they bite.

Mangers are really feeding bins, a place full of saliva and animal snot, not the kind of place one thinks of placing a new born. There are no clean receiving blankets and no mobiles overhead in a barn.

And old barns are drafty and cold...very cold, even in the desert.

What this means is that God knows life is hard and sent His Son not to the best palace in the East but to an old barn in the desert because He loves us and even the baby Jesus knew that life is hard.

Merry Christmas.

I love you all that are my regular friends...my morning was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
