Today's silver lining can only be appreciated by someone who grew up in ARIZONA and has only lived in the northwest for 1 year.......
I woke up to a lovely, ever gracious dusting of snow on everything!
E V E R Y T H I N G !!!
I use to dream about what it would be like to wake up to snow and now I know.
Did you know that birch trees in the snow are beautiful? Like monochromatic ice visions dancing in the meadow of snow.
I LOVE THE SNOW!
(I know I am shouting but I am oh so excited....forgive me please.)

We had about 3 inches here in the California mountains this morning and it was stunningly beautiful! But, most of it's gone this evening, except in the higher elevations! I am so glad you got to enjoy it where you live! Lisa

Snow is such a wonderful blessing when it's a rarity. Enjoy it.

Well, you see? There are SOME good things about living here vs. Arizona. Got a Christmas card from some friends who live in Phoenix and they say it is too COLD there right now. Makes one wonder what their definition of cold IS... Lisa :-]

oh yes, I love snow. a dusting is always nice, because it doesn't get in your way. it's just makes all the details you can miss in the landscape, to stand out. lucky you. no snow where I live, only rain. :(
