So......some of you may be wondering what on EARTH have I been doing? And, some of you haven't noticed. (LOL)

This is our new bedroom set and we just picked up the bed! Only the dresser and mirror remain to complete the first real bedroom set I've had since I was a pre-teen. As a young girl my mother bought me three beautiful sets that I wish I still had; one which incuded a canopy bed and a different one that had one of those lingerie dressers....sigh. But I did as teenagers in the late seventies often did...I insisted that I had to have a waterbed and sold all my lovely sets. My bridegroom bought us this lovely set and I now own a sleigh bed....I hear the bells ringing and feel snow coming.

What a lovely thing new stuff is.

And it so makes up for the week from hell that I just lived thru. I am an office manager, HR director and system administrator in a small car dealership. That is a lot of titles and some of them conflict with others which leads to the explanation of why last week was, shall I say, H E double toothpicks. See somewhere in Alabama is a software guru who thought that July 31st would be the perfect day for me to install an "upgraded" accounting software to my system and indeed it was the only solution to "fix" a problem that had been ongoing since April. Yes you read it right, April.

I am an accountant....

I am the HR director....

I am the payroll clerk....

I am the Office Manager...

I am the IT person...internet technology.....



I had to load the software on the last day of the month that ruined my system, took our sytem down for almost two days and was not an accounting enhancement as promised but a radical accounting software CHANGE. Hello?????? Who took my accounting stuff and made it look like a game of Sims? I've got your windows based accounting in my hip pocket.



Bitter? No, just full of piss and vinegar~ultimately I am just grateful that Alabama is too far from Washington state to drive to because then I'd probably also be in jail. (Kidding folks. Honest, it is a joke. And it's funny.)

Oh....and don't even get me started on being so close to Mumsy and missing her. We had to drive RIGHT PAST HER to get home that night. Damn. Double Damn.

What a gorgeous bed! It wouldn't even fit in what we use as the master bedroom.
(I use the master bedroom as the PlayRoom-- meaning the drama queen has pics of all the plays she and Joe have been involved in ALL over the room. and guess what else is in the PlayRoom?
My window to this world-- my food-infested, ashes-smudged keyboard and my soda-splashed, nicotine-filmed monitor screen. Life is just one comical drama after another for me.
I am so sorry I contributed to a rather garbage week for you! I really need to iron stuff out, but I believe so much in serendipity... if not Jesus.

I love your bedroom set. I have never owned a complete bedroom set. I was always more concerned with getting the living room just right. But, you selection is lovely. I like sleigh beds too.
