Hopeful

Night mist glides
soulfully over me
weaving colors
of gentleness together

wonder touches
my fragments left
within dreams

gathering the
scent of promise
tenderly beneath
tomorrow's bosom

  2. One of my favorite past psychiatrists use to talk more of fragments. He used the term to describe our us ... a shattered image of many minds. I could imagine now fragments of ourselves get left everywhere a little piece for this person, a little for that one. Maybe a collected wholeness like the images of friends gathering and reuniting the one ... would complete the dream fairly :)

  3. In many ways Ayn I think that all people have multiple parts, we are different things, in different ways, to different people. We are fragments.

    Thank you.

  4. We have compared ourselves to puzzles of many pieces, save that our pieces have the ability not only to form a whole picture, but also to interlock with pieces of other puzzles, therefore forming new pictures.
    Very evocative poem.

  7. I believe we all have multiple personas...those people we are in different situations. Which is good as long as our foundation is there and we hold true to that...beautifully written Christinia...

  8. It's funny - trish said that the scent of promise jumped off the page, while I find that tomorrow's bosom is so comforting. It reminds me of waking up - snuggling!

P.S. my syndicate journal on blogger.com has a subscription service if that's easier for you to keep up with!

    With peace and love,
