I believe
In free will
and willful freedom.
In Goodness
and God~ness.
In dreamstuff
and happenstance.
In the finality of faith
and the faithfulness of endings.
In home fires
and burning lust.
In the color of happiness
and the disguise of saddness.
In the freedom of love
and the prision of hate.
In on-line friendship
and real life betrayal.
In the purity of children
and the wisdom of elders.
In today's hope
and tomorrow's grandness.
In the smell of joy
and the flavor of peace.
In the way my name sounds
on God's lips.
In Poetry.
In Art.
In you.
In me.
But mostly, I just believe.
In free will
and willful freedom.
In Goodness
and God~ness.
In dreamstuff
and happenstance.
In the finality of faith
and the faithfulness of endings.
In home fires
and burning lust.
In the color of happiness
and the disguise of saddness.
In the freedom of love
and the prision of hate.
In on-line friendship
and real life betrayal.
In the purity of children
and the wisdom of elders.
In today's hope
and tomorrow's grandness.
In the smell of joy
and the flavor of peace.
In the way my name sounds
on God's lips.
In Poetry.
In Art.
In you.
In me.
But mostly, I just believe.
(Last minute entry for the essay contest, not my best work but a great topic nonetheless.)
This is so very neat! I want to come live in your head. Well, actually I'm not real fond of dodging fast-passing synapses, but maybe I could hop aboard a neurotransmitter as it travels to goodness and God~ness and all the happenstance you can imagine! Wow! What a trip! Nice! Packing bag and kitties now!

Actually, I liked this very much. I tried to write one myself, but my
beliefs are too hazy these days... Lisa :-]
