I grew up in the sun.
110 degree weather was a norm and heat was not something to even talk about in my world but then we moved north to start our family...to a place where my darling man assured me it rarely snows.
Rarely being the key word.
I plan on talking pictures today from the safety of my home because you see, I do not DRIVE in the snow and we got a lovely 8 inches of the rare stuff yesterday. Driving in snow is not a course one learns in Arizona and my neurotic husband has decided I would be a danger to society if I learned now. It is beautiful and much colder than pictures allow one to appreciate. (Tamara ate the snow yesterday and told me it made her tummy icey.)
But then, so is the Arizona sun hotter than it looks too.
I dream in color, write poetry, talk about God, parent kids and finally wonder about it all

But what of the snow men!?
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteNice to see a post... Snow? oh yea... white fluffy stuff... Rarely see it. Now rain.... seen a lot of that lately.... Enough to charter a small boat and row to work today... Nice to see changes of weather, black mountain is not so black, green. It's a nice change. Put some of that snow in a zip loc and mail it to me... Plz?JK.
Miss ya,
xoxo
We got a little bit of the white stuff overnight. But nothing like everyone else around got. I used to like snow, but being a business owner, all I know is it sucks for business.
