My Cherished Grand Mother

Grandma, where does the sun go at night?
(Chrissy, tie your shoe.)

Grandma, can I take my skin off if it gets too dirty?
(Chrissy, button your coat.)

Grandma, why did those people stare at Grandpa?
(Chrissy, not everyone is color-blind.)

Grandma, did the lion eat my goat, Nibbles, too?
(Chrissy, Grandpa and I are moving to Iran. It is a country far away.)

Grandma, why did the bad man kill my daddy?
(Chrissy, oh honey he will always love you.)

Grandma, remember the time in Mexico when we had to smuggle the dog back across the US boarder like bandits?
(Chrissy, what I didn't tell you was I was scared & flat broke. God and prayers got us home.)

Grandma, tell me the truth, how sick is Grandpa really?
(Chrissy, come quickly.)

Grandma, where do our souls go when we sleep?
(Chrissy, God's love is forever.)

Grandma, when I grow up will I get to be just like you?
(Chrissy, tie your shoe.)

Today is my Grandmother's 75th birthday and she is currently in the emergancy room in Florida.
Father God I pray that You guide the doctor taking care of her and give them the touch to heal whatever is harming her health. Let it be something small.
{Editor's note Sunday morning Nov. 20th: Mom said it may have been a "small stroke" but I am not sure that that is ok when one is 75 years young. I am having such a hard time in my desert Lord and I cry out for Your embrace. Infact, I am getting ready to come to Your house for a visit today. I'll see you in a few hours.}

Just wanted to give you an extra hug here. Your desert is awfully dry as of late. That means a heavy rain is on the horizon, i.e., something extra good is coming your way
