Ecclesiastes 3
A Time for Everything
1
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

HI~ I like your journal entry today especially~each one of these is worth meditating upon. I hope you and I and others help people remember that some disabilities are invisible. I have a Christian journal as well as my Fridays Challenge. My entry yesteday (borrowed) is answering children's questions about MS. If you have anything to add, please comment. :-D Echo

These verses have given me more comfort than I can tell you over the years. As I'm getting older, I've seen God's timeframe playing out in my life, and sometimes it sends me to my knees. It's very hard for me sometimes to accept God-time. I want things now. But seeing the moments in my life when I know it was God's plan working out in God's schedule helps me let things happen in the time they need. Not easy for a control freak like me, but oh what a blessing.

I dream in color, write poetry, talk about God, parent kids and finally wonder about it all
